Overview AI ("we", "us", "our") gets real estate agencies and cosmetic & skin clinics recommended by AI assistants, and we take the privacy of the people and businesses we deal with seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details you give us directly — name, phone number, email address — when you call, text, or email us
- Business information you provide once you become a client — company details, team/roster information, billing and account details
- Publicly available business information — such as a business's name, team members, and contact details published on their own website or Google Business Profile — which we use to build free AI visibility reports for prospective clients
- Basic technical information about how our website is used, if and when analytics tools are enabled (this policy will be updated to reflect that if it changes)
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide the services you've asked for
- To build and send AI visibility reports, both free samples and ongoing monthly reports for clients
- To manage client accounts, billing, and communications
- To improve our services and this website
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — such as our website hosting, email (Google Workspace), communications, and payment processing providers — and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service to us. Each is expected to handle information securely and only for the purpose we've engaged them for.
If your business appears in one of our reports
If we've included your business in a free AI visibility report or outreach using information already public on your own website or Google Business Profile, and you'd like it removed or corrected, contact us at hello@overviewai.com.au and we'll action it promptly.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information we hold, and access is limited to those who need it to do their job. No system is completely immune to risk, but we work to keep information secure and only retain it as long as we reasonably need to.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting hello@overviewai.com.au. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a privacy concern, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
